Elektra Health is a new platform for women navigating hormonal health from midlife, on. We are building an integrative healthcare solution that is breaking the menopause taboo by providing women with access to leading specialists, evidence-based programs (no pseudo-science allowed), and a community of women facing similar questions.
Dr. Anna Barbieri, MD, FACOG completed her undergraduate studies at Colgate University, her medical degree from SUNY Syracuse and completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where she currently serves as Assistant Clinical Professor. Dr. Barbieri is a Fellow at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine, University of Arizona, and a Certified Practitioner at the North American Menopause Society. She specializes in menstrual and hormonal problems and the perimenopausal and menopausal transition.
Alenka Ravnik-List, MS, RD, CDE
Alenka Ravnik-List was born in Argentina where she completed her educational training at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in dietetics and a Master’s degree in Nutrition. After moving to New York City, Alenka became a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Diabetes Educator. She has worked in New York for the past 19 years, primarily with Mount Sinai Hospital where she served as Diabetes Program Coordinator. Alenka currently works in private practice where she thrives on teaching people how to set tangible goals and achieve healthier lifestyles through changes that are realistic and sustainable. Alenka is committed to empower patients to eat well and feel great by harnessing the power of food as medicine.
